A 1MZ-FE
The perfect engine swap for any fitted Toyota Corolla would be a 1MZ-FE from a Toyota Camry. The 1MZ-FE was a 3.0(2994cc) v6; all-aluminum, piston motor, from Toyota’s MZ power train. Surprisingly, there were 3 updated versions of the v6. The bores of the engine was 87.5 mm and the stroke was 83 mm. The 1MZ-FE output were between 168-210hp,with up to 220ft•lbs of torque at a given rpm. More power depended on the engine itself. All versions had a compassion ratios of 10.5:1. The 1MZ-FE was designed to improve high performance and fuel efficiency. The updated versions had minor updates including vvti. The 1MZ-FE was a DOHC oversquared motor, with many having different appearances. 2MZ-FE/3MZ-FE parts can be exchangeable with the 1MZ-FE.

A 3MZ-FE
Another perfect engine swap for any fitted Corolla would be a 3MZ-FE from a Toyota
Camry. The 3MZ-FE was a 3.3(3310cc) all-aluminum block, piston motor, from
Toyota’s MZ power train. Production begin in 2004-2014. The bore of
this engine was 92 mm and the stroke was 83 mm. The 3MZ-FE output was between
225-230hp, with up to 242 ft•lbs at a given rpm. The 3MZ-FE had a compassion
ratio of 10.5:1 and was an oversquared by design. The engine was designed to improve high performance and fuel
efficiency. The 3MZ-FE had minor updates including the newly featured vvt-i with ETCS-i. 3MZ-FE parts can be exchangeable with the 1MZ-FE.
1MZ-FE TRD Supercharger Parts
The 1MZ-FE had a TRD Supercharger Kit for the 1997–2000 Camry, 1998–2000 Sienna and 1999–2000 Solara. Power output were bumped anywhere from 230-242hp with up to 242 lb•ft of torque. The supercharger can be tuned and modified to produce up to 255PS. The TRD 1MZ-FE supercharger is a complete blot on. Other parts can be refitted with other 1MZ-FE/3VZ-FE/3MZ-FE powered vehicles. Minor customization is needed for this swap.

A 2GR-FE With Dual vvti
Another engine swap for any Corolla would be a 2GR-FE from a Toyota
Camry. The 2GR-FE was a 3.5(3456 cc) all aluminum block, piston motor. The bore
of this engine was 94 mm and the stroke was 83 mm. The 2GR-FE was an oversquare motor by design and came from the GR Series. The 2GR-FE output was anywhere
between 266-280+hp, with up to 260+ ft•lb of torque at a given rpm. The 2GR-FE
had a compassion ratio of 10.5:1. Later versions of the motor had minor updates
including the use of Dual vvt-i. The 2GR-FE was designed to improve power and
fuel efficiency. The motor has several appearances including JDM versions.

A Toyota Tacoma's 2GR-FKS Engine
Drop a low mile 2GR-FKS into your fitted Toyota Corolla. The 2GR-FKS can be found in the 8th gen Toyota Camry. The 2GR-FKS was a DOHC oversquared 3.5(3,456cc) all-aluminum block piston motor. The motor came from Toyota’s very own GR power train. The 2GR-FKS featured D-4S, VVT-iW, and was designed to improve fuel efficiency/preformance. The engine was produced in 2017. The bore of this engine was 94mm with a stroke of 83mm. The 2GR-FKS had an output of 278-322hp with torque between 265- 280ft•lbs at a given rpm. The motor had a compassion ratio of 11.8:1. There were JDM versions of the 2GR-FKS with updates and several fitted designs.
A TRD Supercharger Strapped 2GR-FE(Drift)
A 2GR-FE
TRD Supercharger Kit was offer for the 2006–2012 Toyota Aurion. Power output can be bumped to 323+ hp with up to 295 lb•ft of torque. MonkeyWrenchRacing, Engineering and D3 Performance sells these superchargers for the Lotus Evora/Exige/Avalon,Lexus ES 350, and Camry. With customed parts, these supercharger kits will work with other cars with the 2GR-FE.
Unfortunately, a v6 swap will never be a direct fit. These v6 swaps are more of a challenge. All the proper equipment from the donated car including a suitable or modified transmission is needed for a successful swap. These swaps requires a lot of customization including customed motor mounts, suspension, electronics/ECU, custumed high proformance axles, shifter, fuel system, cooling system, A/C/power steering, intake/exhaust, suspension/brakes, and tires.
These motors can be found from a 3rd/4th/5th/6th/7th and 8th Gen Toyota Camry. The swap has been done to many Toyota Corollas, Celicas, Tercels, Scions, and Yaris. Some Corolla models may need a custom hood.
Aftermarket for these v6 engines is quite large. With a forged piston kit/FI mods, these motors can handle up to 270PS (400PS with the 2GR Series). Turbo or supercharged applications may require upgraded injectors, upgraded ECU, a blot on or customed built manfold, fuel pump, and boost controller. Every motor and transmission has a weakness. It is very important to address your motor and transmission for weaknesses before modifying them.
Many custom parts can be found via importperformanceparts, M- Force, HKS Superchargers, D3performance, driveshaftshop, gatorracingaxles, Frankensteinmotorworks, Monkeywrenchracing, turbokits, car-part, or maxpeedrods. Prices can be compared and bought. Rotrex and Eaton has a custom series of superchargers for these v6 engines.
